Aside from the online available courses I offer in Ottoman Illumination Art, I’m also doing private workshops.

In this post, I will explain more about this private workshop with details about how it works and difference between it and the available online courses.

1. Direct interaction

In this Ottoman Illumination workshop, you’ll constantly be able to interact with me directly more than the online workshop. We can schedule meetings at suitable times and work together on your painting.

2. Corrections

You are able to send your work freely for any correction. From drawing elements to designing your pattern and painting it, you don’t have to worry about doing it alone. I’ll work hand-in-hand with you so that we minimize mistakes as much as possible.

3. Q&A

Every time we meet, or communicate you can ask as many questions as you want. As I mentioned in my previous post, many of the Tezhip materials are in Turkish which is a bit hard for Tezhip students to understand. Therefore, you have the opportunity to ask and understand this art more.

4. Your design

The design you’ll work on is designed for you. It won’t be the same design taught in the online course. Which means you’ll be able to draw and paint a design of your own. I’ll teach you the fundamentals, and work with you from drawing to the painting part.

5. Special Experience

In the end, it’s going to be a special experience for you. Because of the current conditions, it’s all going to be online, yet we’ll work at your pace. Whether it takes you 2 or 3 months, you’ll have a wonderful painting of your own in the end.
